Many of the people I work with come from diverse cultural backgrounds and may be navigating the pressure of balancing family expectations, cultural identity, and their own needs. Some grew up in homes where emotions weren’t openly discussed, which can make it difficult to recognize or express what they feel. Many of my clients arrive feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or carrying past experiences they haven’t yet been able to heal from. Together, we create a safe space where they can explore what they’ve lived through, in whichever language feels most comfortable. English is fine, and Spanish too.
I specialize in trauma-focused therapy, combining practical tools (like DBT and ACT) with creative forms of expression, such as art and telling your own story, to help you process what you’ve experienced in ways that go beyond words.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and you don’t have to do it alone. My hope is to offer you a space where you feel safe to explore, discover, and reconnect with yourself.

You are an individual and there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach!
I consider my clients to be the experts in their own lives and own lived experiences, and approach counseling through a solution-focused and strength-based lens to help you enact long-lasting change. I utilize principles of CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, EMDR, and integrative healing, and we decide together what is best for you.
