Living a human life is inherently difficult, especially when trying to learn to navigate it on your own. It is important that individuals in our community and around the world feel connected to other’s that genuinely care about their wellbeing. That is where I come in. I work to make sure that each client of mine feels supported, heard, and accepted in the counseling room.

Compassion, empathy, and kindness are the cornerstones to my style of therapy, which focuses on one’s inner self-critic, their inner-compassionate self, shame and guilt, and emotion and thought work. I specialize in working with individuals that experience an overwhelming amount negative self-talk, have a negative self-concept, and experience low self-confidence and worth. I also specialize in working with individuals that suffer from anxiety and depression, individuals that have been a victim of sexual assault, and/or individuals that experienced a major life event that is causing current distress and impairment in their daily lives. I have an interest in working with adolescents (14+ years of age) and young adults, however, I meet with a wide age range of clients ranging from adolescents to clients in adulthood.

It is my goal as a therapist to help my clients build up their self-worth, feel love and compassion for themselves and others, and to regain a sense of agency and control over their tricky thoughts and emotions.

Do you often find yourself feeling anxious, stressed, or down—unable to be fully present in the moment? Is there a critical voice in your head telling you that you’re not worthy? Do you feel stuck in old patterns, unsure how to break free from them?

If any of this resonates with you, you’re not alone—and I’m here to help. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if it’s your first time. As your therapist, I bring compassion, non-judgment, and collaboration to our sessions. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe exploring your experiences and emotions.

I have extensive experience providing trauma-responsive care to culturally diverse clients. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating trauma recovery, low self-worth, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss. In our work together, we’ll draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic-based approaches, mindfulness, and other culturally and trauma-informed modalities. These approaches can gently support you in reconnecting with your body and emotions and in gaining deeper insight into the challenges you want to change.

No matter your cultural background, identity, or lived experience, you are welcome here. If you feel we could be a good fit, I invite you to reach out.

The clients I work best with are curious about themselves, open to exploring, and willing to put in the work. They value respect, for themselves, for others, and for the healing process, and they want to feel more connected to their emotions, have the words to express what’s going on, and learn skills they can use day to day.

Together, we’ll explore the connections between your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, and focus on shifting what’s been keeping you stuck. We’ll also look at patterns from your past and how they show up in the current ways you view the world and move through it. I’ll point out your progress along the way, especially the wins you might not notice yourself, and remind you of the strengths you already have. My style is direct, with plenty of warmth and a sense of lightness where it’s needed.

Therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re used to keeping it all inside. You don’t need the perfect words or a clear plan to start. We’ll take it one at a time and create space for you to learn, feel understood, supported, and capable of real, lasting change.
